Permeation

To measure the permeability of films and packages we can offer the following equipment:

- Measurement of oxygen transmission
- Measurement of water vapour transmission
- Measurement of carbon dioxide transmission

For calibrating the equipment there are certified films following the NIST guidelines.

OX-TRAN ® 2/21

The permeation meter OX-TRAN 2/21 with 2 measuring cells measures the transmission of oxygen and the barriers of films and packaging. The coulometric sensor used in the modules is an absolute oxygen sensor. This means that this patented sensor must not be calibrated for measuring the permeation.

PERMATRAN-W ® 3/33

The permeation meter PERMATRAN-W 3/33 with 2 measuring cells measures the transmission of water vapour and the barriers of films and packaging.
