Teaching and information for students
In our teaching, we impart sound basic knowledge and practical application experience in polymer engineering. Using innovative manufacturing processes and modern digital technologies, we show how high-performance plastic products are developed and manufactured today. The focus is on the close interplay between structure, processing, and application. In addition, aspects of sustainability such as the circular economy and recycling are an integral part of our teaching.
The lectures, tutorials, practicals, and excursions offered provide students with a comprehensive insight into the world of polymer engineering. Furthermore, students can actively participate in current research topics as student assistants or as part of their thesis work.
